Improv Game of the Day: Body Composing

6+ players in a fairly big space. This game is makes a great warm-up for improv sessions, and is good way to introduce players to the idea of making compositional choices (something classical players don’t get to do ordinarily) – no worries about pitch mistakes, the bugaboo of novice classical improvisers.

Players move from one side of the room to the other, using any movements of arms and legs they choose; the movements are compositional choices. Make several compositions; make them very different.
